Guide the team into leading-edge thinking including mobile-first design and development, and useful performance enhancements. Create reusable site code templates that decrease production time and cost, while insuring consistency across the site. Work with the Southern Company IT department as well as business and marketing teams at Georgia Power to improve confidence in our group and balance external agency interaction. Organize our group requests by implementing Jira issue tracking. Help develop workflow process and QA standards to improve quality in delivered projects. Train team members in current technologies like HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery. Make recommendations and take ownership of performance, code consistency, and usability improvements.
